Todd Harrison has continued on his path of health and healing by advocating for two protocols: Youngevity supplementation and Vecttor. (need not be combined) Previously you have seen Todd and David use VECTTOR, now, Todd is venturing into seeing what nutrition can do for the body. With Todd's research into the vital role that nutrition plays in a healthy body, he has lead the charge once again! He has found information that has lead him to understand the key elements that are needed for combatting Muscular Dystrophy in getting to the root cause of the dystrophy and not just treating symptoms. Dr. Joel Wallach and Dr. Peter Glidden have been leading science based, clinically verified, wholistic nutrition to support and promote the structure and function of the body and have had a key role in reversing "muscle disease" in the veterinarian industry. Defying Muscular Dystrophy is honored to unveil that we now have a scientific advisory board led by Dr. Joel Wallach.
Dr. Wallach has over 70 published peer reviewed publications and is a naturopathic physician as well as a veterinarian. He has written numerous books including Diseases of Exotic Animals: Medical and Surgical Management which is featured in The Smithsonian's Library. He has also been known for showing that Cystic Fibrosis is a simple Selenium deficiency and was nominated for the 1991 Noble Prize. Also with more than 150 million copies of his lecture, "Dead Doctors Don't Lie" distributed makes that the most widely distributed health lecture in history.
With Dr. Joel Wallach leading the scientific advisory board with Defying Muscular Dystrophy, gigantic plans are in the mix for Defying Muscular Dystrophy including an online telethon to raise money to assist with providing the supplements for those who may be interested. Also coming soon, is a 100 person nutritional study involving a Youngevity supplement protocol similar to Todd Harrison's and David Gould's, in which we will be looking for participants. Defying Muscular Dystrophy also co-hosted an informational webinar July 25th with Dr. Peter Glidden. You can find the webinar on DefyingDystrophy YouTube Channel.
Dr. Rhodes is the inventor of the electro-magnetic stimulation machine known as Vecttor.
(authored by Defying Muscular Dystrophy Staff)
In Muscular Dystrophy, muscles and nerves are hungry for oxygen for which they have been deprived of for years. Vecttor is a form of electromagnetic stimulation of the nerve cells in which to relieve oxidative stress from the body. Oxygen is a needed component for muscle growth and maintenance.
With this electromagnetic treatment, electrodes are placed on various nerve points throughout the body. The machine is turned on and the patient receives electro stimulation to nerve cells. One cannot feel the stimulation as it is at a very low level. The result that Todd and David have experienced and Todd is continuing to experience is reversal of gross motor skills muscle loss, gains in gross motor skills muscle function, and gains in gross motor skills muscle strength. (See Youtube channel link listed for treatment results below and see Vecttor demonstration video link in lower right of page). The Vecttor machine will alert the patient for the need of new "protocols" or "placements of the electrodes") dependent upon the body naturally changing over time.

SPECIAL NOTE: Our beloved David Gould recently passed away on October 10, 2013. Although his quality of life was maintained through the use of Vecttor therapy the past 3 years (he regained the ability to drive after stopping for more than a year) and had only just started on Nutritional Supplementation with the 90 essential nutrients, there was not enough time left in David's life span to start on the full protocol. David's heart muscle, the most important muscle, suffered cardiac arrest due to the effects of this devastating disease. This is precisely why Defying Muscular Dystrophy Corporation is devoted to continue its search for potential therapies for preserving quality of life as well as extending longevity.
